You Are Less Than You Know

A while back, Martha who publishes the blog  Living Among Tourists asked some interesting questions and issued a challenge. Click here to see the whole post.

She wrote:
"What one photograph not of you would completely represent you? Is that even possible?
 She added:
If you want to take that challenge and post a photo, do! It may take a few days or weeks to come to a well thought conclusion, but you might give it a go.

I've thought...and thought....and thought.

And, here's my response.

Now I See

Would I have noticed this rather densely populated window if I had been in my car today?
I don't think so. Actually, I've driven by this storefront many times in my car and have never noticed these guys. It is obvious they've been there awhile. I don't remember having been down this way on Miss Billie until today and bingo! Now I see.
Same for this bush tucked in an alley on a street I drive down often. Hadn't noticed it before, but now I see.
I doubt I could of missed these wildflowers in bloom even if I were driving. But, I can't say, because fortunately today I wasn't driving. I was riding. Yay!

It took two years and sixteen days, but finally I made it.

Patiently Waiting For Spring

A blog friend, Trobairitz put out a challenge. (click here to go to her blog). Her challenge? To take a photo of oneself while sitting at ones computer.

I don't have web-cam, iPhone, and decided this wasn't the time to experiment with the timer on my camera. But I did have a co-worker willing to take a photo of me sitting at my desk at work.

Not very creative, but sometimes one can only do the best one can do.

Still Determined

Remember these?
They were almost ready to bloom.
Now they are almost bloomed out.
It seems it is still determined to be unseasonably warm. Today it reached into summertime temperatures.

Sunday I lost an hour of sleep, but the sunrise more than made up for it.

While it has been warm, still the King hasn't been out on his front steps. Today he was and as I rode by he gave me a big old wave! (Click here for my original post about the King.) It was good to see him. I hadn't seen him in a very long time. I'd even began to wonder if he might have moved. It is a little thing seeing him sitting on the steps in front of his home, but I've come to appreciate how big of a deal the little things truly are.
