There will be no snow today, it is June not January. |
Commuting in June is warmer . . . |
Before I started riding to work everyday St. Louis was just a place where I lived. Now it is my hometown. This is probably the thing that I am most grateful for as I ride to work today.
Be safe everyone and remember to ride your ride!
Nice! I totally forgot what day it was since I'm no longer employed. Way to go on living the work to ride dream.

I am envious of your warm temperatures on your ride in.
ReplyDeleteI rode this morning with temps in the 50's and rain. It is rumored to be in the 80's tomorrow although I will not hold my breath.
I am glad your town feels like home to you. That is a good place to be in life.
I rode in though we had a bit of light rain but I must admit that I'll take that anytime over heat and/or humidity.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I like your shot of the arch...
Thanks Brady, I'm doing what I can. Been following the packing for the move. Ashamed I haven't commented. I will.

Trobairitz,
ReplyDeleteI think we will have rain tomorrow, but the rest of the week looks like resort weather.
Thanks for sharing a comment. Your faithful commenting is very appreciated.

Richard,
ReplyDeleteI, too, find the heat and humidity challenging. I've often said I enjoy riding in the rain. It is wind and lightning that are the big summertime threats for me.
Glad we were able to ride together today. Who knows maybe one day we'll be able to do so in closer proximity. Now there would be a concept.

Yay, Glad you had a nice ride today!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the rain won't bother to show up tomorrow. Oh, I rode too. :)
You are becoming quite the commuter Queen. It looks like my bike will get washed on the way to work. Oh well, hopefully gentle and I won't have to wait it out anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by,

Dear Keith:
ReplyDeleteMy commute is down a flight of stairs, and over to my office. But if I had to ride every day, I ccouldn't think of a better way to do it.

Awesome picture! We have been blessed with several days with clear skies. Afternoon temps have been 93F plus, so the mesh sleeved jacket helps.
ReplyDeleteGlad to find another commuter.
-Peace
Jack,
ReplyDeleteI'd watch myself on those stairs. Stairs are dangerous.
Yes, the Symba is a great vehicle for city commuting.
Thanks for making the time to comment,

Allen,
ReplyDeleteWe've had some of those 93F+ days here as well. Today was one of those nearly picture perfect days. It was sunny and in the mid-60F's when I left the Condo this morning; and still sunny and in the mid-70F's for the ride home.
Thanks for the comment,
~k
Keith it looks like you had a nice ride to work day! I like your comment that since youbhave been riding your scoot to work that St. Louis is now your home town. I know what you are saying I feel the same about Victoria now.
ReplyDeleteIsn't every day ride to work day for us?? :) We only had a few days of over 90F so far this year. The mesh makes is tolerable.
ReplyDeleteBacktracking a catching up. :) Wanted to comment on you feeling of it being "your hometown" now since you ride through it and feel it. I completely understand that feeling. I apply it to Georgia, though. I love that I have seen so much of Georgia that others don't bother to take the time to visit. :)
