My wanderings and ponderings with a little kitsch thrown in for good measure.
Oh my. I can't imagine why. But sometimes I have those split second discombobulations!
Gnome wars or turtle wars? ;)
Looks like the turtle is trying to steal the gnome. Or perhaps it's the other way around.
I don't think of Star Wars, but I do think it is pretty darn cool. You manage to find the neatest stuff in yards.
I can see the connection ... star wars in slow motion.
"E.T. phone Gnome"?
Keith, looks to me like he had quite a lead on the other jockeys. Did you place a bet?
He was either way in the lead or very far behind. Either way, he was one of a kind.
Dear Keith:Gnomes are quite collectible in some places. Some folks customize their gnomes to make either an artistic or personal statement. Some of the statements are quite clever. So the gnomes get stolen. I think it's nice that you slow down every now and again to say hello to the gnomes.Fondest regards,Jack — Twisted Roads
I grew up in Michigan the home of Vernors Ginger Ale. I'm told Vernors is this nation's oldest soda, and its mascot is Woody the Gnome. I grew up drinking Vernors and it is one of those things I miss. It just doesn't taste like it used to.Oh well, another example of not being able to go back. Thanks for stopping by!
