The Pot Tree

8 comments:

  1. I LOVE it!

It reminds me of passing by an Amish farm where they had cut down big trees to the ground and made smooth stumps. They had somehow hollowed them out and used them as planters for flowers.

You see the neatest things on your rides!

    1. People are doing lots of interesting things with the stumps left behind after tree removal. I've not see anything like you describe, but I'd never seen anyone using the remains as shelves for potted plants until now.

  2. Sheesh there's an idea. Wonder why we didn't do that when we cut down the sequoia? Not. I think I'd rather have someone chainsaw carve bears in the trunks or something.

At least they are trying to make it prettier. I wonder if there are septic lines or something under it so they can't dig down and stump grind.

    1. I'm sure there are no septic lines to keep them from digging out the stump. I think they just thought it would look...interesting. And it did get my attention.
