My wanderings and ponderings with a little kitsch thrown in for good measure.
Keith, the view on to the Meramec river is simply beautiful.
I took that photo with my phone. I walked out of the house without my camera. Sometimes my forgetfulness works in my favor. Glad you like the photo.
Agree with SonjaM, that is a stunning photo!
That river shot does look like an easy place to sit, watch and wait for the colors to gently change.
Coop, exactly! There are a number of wonderful places to sit, watch and wait along the Meramec for every season to manifest it's treasures. This one was at Castlewood State Park, a favorite day hiking place of Heather and mine.
Keith - there is something wonderful about living near a river(s). I also love the photo of the Meramec, but I love the flamingos as well - who would expected!I think I may have to put that Meramec River on my bucket list (I'm always looking for places to see!)
It was in the 60'sF when we were at the zoo. I was surprised to see them out. Needless to say, I was delighted.I'm not originally from Missouri and am continually delighted at the wonders of this place.
I always love pictures of nature's splendor. Thank you for sharing.Great shot of the flamingos too. They are vibrant.
