Stumped Part 2

The more I look at these the more I wonder if they are added rather than created from the stump of the tree. I may have to ask.
And, as we were out looking for more stump statues we came across this. Billie just had to have her picture taken with this lady..

  1. Lady Liberty as one?? Very nice. The little Native American with a planter is unique. I enjoy the way the plants hang down the planter. Adds color. Thanks for finding more! -Lori

  2. Actually Lori, Lady Liberty is stone but I couldn't resist. Poor Billie is from Taiwan and thought she was in New York, although she wondered where the water went. I broke the news gently that she was still in St. Louis. She took it well.

  3. Well, tell Billie that she can fawn all over many versions of the lovely Lady. We even have one down here she can visit. Although I can't say this one is exactly "lovely". :) -Lori

  4. I agree the face on the Lady Liberty you have down your way is pretty scary. And, I think she looks a little butch. Thanks for the link. It fit right in the stump them.

  5. Did you sing a verse of America when you took that picture? I would have.

  6. Jim: No, but I did wave. By the way, she didn't wave back.

  7. I have a black bear carving on my commute. Not sure if he's a stump or a statue, but he toppled over this summer, so I'm guessing statue. He's back up again, but sadly missing his nose!

  8. Bluekat: A bear with no nose. How sad. But at least it no longer has to take it lying down.

  9. Cool stepthrough scooter man. I had a Honda c70 Passport in rather horrid shape for a while. Boy, was that thing fun. Your bike looks like a good time, especially for around town, they're the best. That thing is a Taiwanese make? Got any details or a link to the story that tells what it is? I like the bike details.

  10. Brady: It is a SYM Symba. You are correct it is made in Taiwan. Here's a link a great review from Orin at Scootin' Old Skool:

And, it is indeed great fun.
