Winter Doesn't Wish To Leave

We may end up with 5 inches of new snow.  I suspect the daffodil wasn't surprised, but I was. Tomorrow a predicted high in the 40F's. Perhaps just a little speed bump on the way to Spring.

  1. Wow! At least it probably won't freeze on the roads like earlier in the winter. This will probably be a quick snow slick, then back to dry roads soon. Hope you can handle the wait time. I'd probably have problems, but you are better at snow riding than I am. :)

  2. Lori: Actually, the snow is all gone today. They are saying we might get some more tonight, but it doesn't feel like it to me. I fully expect to ride to work tomorrow. I was out in it yesterday until it began to get slushy. It was big flakes and the temps were just above freezing. Great times.

  3. Hope you got to ride to work today and don't get any more snow.

No snow here in the Willamette Valley but we're about ready to put pontoons on the bikes or at least bring oars with us when we ride.

  4. Trobairitz: I did get to ride to work today. There is a slight chance for snow tomorrow, but I think it is going to be rain instead. Oh well, tis' the season.

Thanks for dropping by and sending your well wishes. Hope you get to ride without oars.

  5. The poor little daffodils!
I hope by now it's all melted away (and stays away!)

  6. Bluekat: The daffodils survived just fine. And, the snow all melted. It looks like the possible snow today and tonight may be south of us. Thursday is the opening of the Baseball Season. It must be Spring, right?
