More Signs of Spring

It didn't rain Saturday, but it didn't "not rain" either. There was a fine mist in the air.

It wasn't enough to get my gear wet, but I had to wipe the moisture from my helmet vizor from time to time.

It was a very busy weekend and the ride Saturday was urban and all too short.

Once again, I was grateful for all the green spaces to be found in the City.

Springtime in St. Louis: Dogwood and barbeque.

On Sunday, I even caught a glimpse of the ever elusive lawn serpent.

  1. "Dogwood and BBQ". Oh. I'm so nostalgic. I can smell all of that and the freshly mown grass...magnolias out yet?

    1. The magnolias have pretty much all gone. Their peak was a week or so ago. I did find a few during my commute.

You got the smells right :^)

  2. Is the lawn serpent a dangerous or an endangered species?

    1. I go by the place I discovered the lawn serpent at least twice a week and have never noticed it before, yet it doesn't look new. It is funny how suddenly things appear even in the most familiar of places. I know Heather wants one...of course, not having yard presents a small problem.

  3. Nice lawn serpent. Have never seen one "in person". I hear that they prey on scooter tires...

    1. Nice comment Richard. Yes, I suspect if one go too close to it with ones scooter it could be very bad indeed :^)

  4. Nice to see the blossoms and green grass out in your area. No more snow allowed.

I don't think we have any Lawn Serpents around here BUT, in Kelowna they have the Ogopogo Serpent
