Martha, Thanks. Yes, the bugs are out in StL. The other thing I'm noticing is I get a lot more bug hits riding Isabelle than I do Billie. I suspect it is a speed thing. ~k

Brandy, I've never heard the saying, but it could be true. Since I wear a helmet I don't eat many bugs. I was riding in Illinois yesterday. They don't have a helmet law and lots of riders don't wear one, even guys without a fairing. I gotta think those bugs must sting when they hit there faces. I'm certainly not anxious to find out at midnight or any other time. ~k
