What Have I Been Up to?

I've been riding...

And, climbing rocks with Heather...

And, riding...

And, exploring Forest Park with Heather...

And, riding...

And, helping build a Sukkah...

And, riding...

And, making music...

And, did I mention, riding?

And, I've been keeping up with my daily postings over at Did He Ride Today?.

What have I been up to? I've been busy--good busy, but busy nonetheless.

What I haven't been doing to my satisfaction is keeping up with other folk's blogs and postings. This feels like my loss.

  1. Time sure does fly doesn't it? I'm glad to see you are getting out and enjoying the nice weather, on two wheels, two feet or one tush. But...not riding with Heather??

    1. Lori,
No riding with Heather, which makes her Grandmother very happy :^)

And yes, time does fly by.

There is nothing better than filling the gaps in a busy day with... riding.

    1. Sonja,
Wow, if this was one day I'd still be tired LOL. This is what I've been up to since my last post, but filling in the gaps in a busy life with riding is wonderful, too.

On 2up, see my above comment to Lori.

Autumn, here, is great riding weather for sure.

  4. Busy in my life as well and also feeling guilty about not keeping up with other blogs. I'm hoping life may slow down a bit next month. This month though....

    But anyway, keep riding!!

    1. Oh, I intent to keep riding. I did a 250+mile ride today. I visited the site of the Battle of Pilot Knob and then spent sometime in the Mark Twain National Forest. Good stuff.

  5. What a cool post. I like that you can alternate riding and family activities with Heather and how you showed that in your picture arrangement.

    1. I certainly try to keep a balance in things. Still, there are times when Heather voices her concern that I love my bikes more than her. I think she is teasing.

  7. Where are those rocks? I've always wanted to visit Sainte Genevieve. How was that?

    1. Martha,
The rocks are in Elephant Rocks State Park. It is a wonderful place.

Ste. Genevieve is like many towns like it--lots of Antique shops and stuff like that. That said, there are wonderful old houses that date from near the founding of the village--old for these here parts.

  8. Fun photo series to catch us up. Those busy seasons can surely keep us on our toes. I'd love climbing on those rocks!

    1. This is an area where much of the building stone and paving stone for St. Louis came from, once upon a time. Now, most of the stone still being quarried is used for tombstones. It is a fun place.

  9. Dear Keith:

I've always wanted my own Sukkah. "Scooters" looks cool.
