No Longer

Columbia, Illinois is just over the Jefferson Barracks Bridge from South St.Louis County. It is where I-255 crosses the Mississippi River.

I managed to get out for a short ride on Sunday afternoon and decided I'd head over the J.B. Bridge to Columbia. This means I'm no longer an Interstate virgin. Whatever could this mean? I haven't a clue, but I do know I don't feel any different.

    1. Sorry, to give you a startle. It just was quite a surprise to me that little old putt putt me would find myself on I-255. It is a long way from hunting lawn flamingos

  2. I was afraid of the same thing!! I'm glad that all is good.

Interstate virgin no more. HA! I remember those days. The interstate is now just a means to an end to get between point A and C faster. :)

    1. Actually, I wanted to see how much difference it made taking the visor off my dual sport helmet. Taking off the visor made a really big difference. My neck likie.

  3. You don't feel any different? No special glow? No one can tell by looking at you? Sheesh what was all the fuss and hype about then?

Glad to know you and your scoot can handle the Interstate when needed.

    1. I always wondered if the water really did circle in the opposite direction as it went down the drain in the Southern Hemisphere.

Hmm, I didn't know the Interstate went that far south.
