Autumn

In the distance are some of the Busch Family's Clydesdales

I love being near so many rivers.

This is the Meramec River

I was surprised to see these out when we visited the zoo during "Boo At The Zoo"

    1. I took that photo with my phone. I walked out of the house without my camera. Sometimes my forgetfulness works in my favor. Glad you like the photo.

  3. That river shot does look like an easy place to sit, watch and wait for the colors to gently change.

    1. Coop, exactly! There are a number of wonderful places to sit, watch and wait along the Meramec for every season to manifest it's treasures. This one was at Castlewood State Park, a favorite day hiking place of Heather and mine.

  4. Keith - there is something wonderful about living near a river(s). I also love the photo of the Meramec, but I love the flamingos as well - who would expected!
I think I may have to put that Meramec River on my bucket list (I'm always looking for places to see!)

    1. It was in the 60'sF when we were at the zoo. I was surprised to see them out. Needless to say, I was delighted.

I'm not originally from Missouri and am continually delighted at the wonders of this place.
