I Wonder If That Applies

Islam allows a man more than one wife. I'm told there is a catch. Yes, a man can have more than one wife, but he must treat them equally.  Hmmm, I wonder if that applies to motorcycles and scooters as well. If one doesn't treat them both equitably and well will there be a scene? Perhaps something like I witnessed the other evening.

I saw it all. The one in the back pushed the one in the front. It was nearly flamigocide.
I've been riding Billie to work each day. Isabelle has been setting in the garage. Heather was over in Illinois this evening and wouldn't be home until late. It seemed a good opportunity to stretch Isabelle's legs, to keep things in balance.

The evening was warm, but delightful. And, the sky decided to put on a show for us.

It wasn't a very long ride. Even so, we took a little break.

I think Isabelle likes her photo taken.

  1. Like any red scooter they are very inclined to have their pictures taken.

The case of flamingocide worries me. We are doomed.

    1. Sonja,
I think we are safe from the flamingos, but these red scooters...they seem to be time consuming :)

    1. Kari,
The skies the last few evening tell me Autumn is indeed near. We are nearing the great sunset season.

  3. Yes, flamingocide...quite funny. I get the feeling of Isabelle posing, just like Paolo, in the last photo. She's just saying "yes, lluuvv me".

    1. Lori,
She doesn't seem to be a poser, but does like to pose. Another 100mile ride today. Soon it will be time for the first service. Time flies when...

  4. Are you quite sure it wasn't a case of one flamingo trying to steady the other? Flamingos age, you know, and with all the heat you have been having, well... let's not jump to conclusions. Is there another witness?

    Great cloud photo, too!

    1. Martha,
No one else seemed to notice, but again most folks don't pay close attention to flamingos.

      Ah, the Autumn sky cometh.

  5. Beautiful photo fo the clouds! I wouldn't worry too much about the flamingocide as no weapons were involved. Armed flamingos would have me concerned...

    1. Richard,
Yes, we must guard the guns :)

I love the sky. I've said many times, one the things riding has opened to me is the sky.

  6. It indeed looks like Isabelle enjoys having her picture taken. She is posing for the camera with her body in one direction and her head turned towards the camera. If she could smile, I am sure she would.
