Tastes Like

Mike Kinman is the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral here in St. Louis. Today as it spit out some snow flakes he commented:

Snow that doesn't stick is like a doughnut that tastes like cauliflower.

Pretty much sums it up for me.

  1. Completely true! Will it stick eventually? Temps going down? We sould be in the 20's this weekend. Though no chance of precipitation.

    1. We got a decent dusting, but that's all. I wrote more about it over in my other blog: Flurries in The Forecast. I'm really glad I didn't ride today. I was tempted, but not having the bike with a kickstarter available to me sealed the deal. Good thing.

It's supposed to be 8F tonight. Chilly walk in the morning.

  3. Great quote. I expect I'll have lots of opportunities to use it up here where the snow does usually stick.

  4. Nice analogy. There is something so wrong about snow that just teases us but doesn't stick.
