Ho, Ho, Ho...

Saw these over in Illinois. I think they are quite possibly my most favorite Christmas decorations ever!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and longing,

longing for peace on earth and an abundance of goodwill for all.

  4. You don't ask for much, peace on Earth. Entirely do-able you'd think...bring back cheap oil I say!

    1. I thought about longing for cheap oil, but I figured world peace was more realistic.

  6. People in Illinois....can't live with 'em or without 'em...

Being an Illinois native I can say that. Living in Wisconsin I KNOW that.

Really clever decorations and thanks for catching that! You need a house, Keith, so you can do this and in the summer set out your own flamingos. : ^D

    1. Martha,
On the one hand that sounds like a very good idea...on the other hand taking care of a house would cut into my riding time....of course, I might be able to have a bigger garage which could mean...

    1. bob,
When I first saw them I, too, thought of Easter Island. Oh, how funny.

I do hope you and your beloved have a marvelous Christmas and beyond.

Are they giant rocks or what?

Hope you both had a very happy holiday this week!

    1. Deb,
They are wood--think tree stumps with pizzazz! I think they are wonderfully creative.

Ugh, it is back to work tomorrow. We're going to be right on the border of the big snow storm. Tomorrow I may be driving to work.

  9. Gotta love the festive stumps. I've got a lady down the road who puts a new decoration on her stump for every occasion - gotta love the enthusiasm. Happy Holidays and all the best for a brand new year!

    1. Happy Holidays to you as well!

One the the new things happening here is stump sculptures. I've seen everything from turtles to gargoyles, from farmers to bears. They are quite impressive. This fellas made me laugh. I'll have to go back and see if they are year arounders, or just come out at Christmas.

      Thanks for stopping by.
      ~Keith
